Other use their arms, other use a lie, and other accepted to become an ill to spread their root and insist the bounty of others land. Colonization is an act, a way and the solution that may sustain the needs of greed land. There is a thousand way to colonize others country, other use a violent act and arm that can inject a fear and treat, other use a lie like belief and gods that may control the way of thinking, and other try to become silent and ignored in an eye of other by the slow move and patience to wait on a perfect timing to exceed like a cancer that will not seen but to harm on our body.
Before the Spain capture the Philippines. Ancient Filipino has their own way of living that we adopted and inherit from the Malay like gods, belief, language, education, culture, food, clothing, accessory, art, music, and dance. When the Spaniard came here in the Philippines, they found out that some of the island and islet are already civilize, the Baranggay that headed by the Datu that shown that the ancient Filipino has already establish its own government and laws to be fallow. Ancient Filipino has their own faith and gods that they follow, like Bathala that know as the Supreme Being and creator, and other super natural belief like Diwata. They also have a system of writing, form of dance and music.
But the Spaniard has a power to colonize the Philippine, because of their advance knowledge, tools and weapon that can make them to enter through an easy path. But the Spaniard superiority and manifistation that made a guilt to trigger the patriotic inner most of the Filipinos. Even though that the Spaniard lead us in a regid way, they leave a great infact and influence that may contribute on the way of living of anacient filipino until now. The Spaniard introduce the belief, church, laguage, eduction even that they are more restrict if you are a indio or a Filipino, clothing, and the form of government that we all known that us a corrupt, because of the greediness of some officials and even a friar.
After the era of the Spain, American arrive in the Philippines to help the Filipino to fight against the colonization of the Spain. But because of the rich natural resource of the Philippines, the American become more interested on the natural resources that they may access. Because of an advance weapon and stratigiest in combat/war they capture the Philippines an enabled them to lead the country. The American way of governance are more flexible compair to the Spanish government. They introduct the education and kinds of politics that they have, and other influence like music, dance, clothing, technology and etc. that may became more favorable to us.
Being colonize by other country can be brought us to the difference but continuous flow of change. We all have to to fallow those flow not because we are harm because of the way they treat us, but from the influence that they brought that became a big held us to be more accepted to be competent to the global or from the out of the country. Time decide how human or the people it self became more acquire to access on it's environment.
I'm happy that even our relationship with other country start at the things that we didn't wanted... but I tried to asked, what is past if their is a present and sooner we will meet the future. Happy now because of the rules of peace and freedom that we experience. Other country allowed other to shared their traits, belief and all other.
